I attended AnimeIowa for a day in 1999-- that's an anime convention in Iowa, natch-- and spent a bit of time in the "Artist's Hole", which was supposedly a convention room designed to be a place where pro and amateur artists could gather and talk shop. Well, for the period from about 6 PM to 11 PM on Saturday, September 5th, the number of artists in the Hole was roughly one-- me.

Well, at least I got a bit of art done. This pic was penciled and inked at the convention, and I liked it enough to save it and color it when I got home. Since I just did an uncomplicated, quick figure, I put the picture in here with the other roughs.
